Add contacts with only their name and not have to have an email address or twitter name.
I met a guy the other day that I got his name and some info about him but did not ask for an email address or twitter username and I wanted to remember that connection but hashable would not allow me too. I had to make a fake email address to do it.

This will be fixed in our upcoming release. You’ll be able to save interactions with people as well as their contact info.

LinkedIn import not working
The option to import profile information from LinkedIn doesn't appear to be working. Clicking the button opens a new window allowing you to authorize Hashable to access your data on LinkedIn, but after authorization, redirecting back to hashable doesn't work. The window stays open with a blank page, and no data is actually imported.
A similar issue occurs when connecting your Twitter account, but refreshing the main page (not the new window opened for the oauth authorization) shows that the connection did occur.

Sync All Contacts - Outlook, Hashable, Twitter, LinkedIn & Facebook.
If Hashable could be the tool I used to sync all my contacts across platforms, not only would I love you forever, I think you'd create a trojan horse, giving non-hashable users another compelling reason to use the service.
Personally, I struggle syncing email contacts in POP Mail services and Outlook along with Social Networking websites. If this could then be connected to CRM applications like SFDC you'd have yet another user type who'd be drawn to the service.
I may be the anomaly who wants all these worlds sync'd in one contact DB, but everybody is looking for a… more

Very insightful feedback that we are definitely considering as Hashable evolves beyond version 2.0.

Sign-up crashed and hung repeatedly
Sign-up using IE9 on Vista Home Premium crashed and hung repeatedly. It crashed signing-up by linking my Linkedin account and then hung linking to my Twitter account. Facebook seemed to work properly.

Hi Thomas,
Can you explain what you mean by “crash”? Does the browser hang, or does the page not behave as expected?

Tab and Favorites Titling
I suggest that you Title the "Home Tab" in the browser and subsequently the Favorites link "Hashable.com - Home" to create unabiguous clarity in both condensed rows of tabs and in my extensive Favorites list. Don't obscure the brand by hiding it behind the word "Home".

Currently the Tab and Favorites titling read as “Home – Hashable.com”. We are reviewing Thomas’ suggestion.

Suggested connections!
Based on all of my existing connections, Hashable should provide recommendations of "best" people to connect with. Now I may already know some of these people but just haven't connected via Hashable - and maybe there should be a way to indicate that in a kind of "starting point" connection strength (good for new users, too).

Great thoughts – we are certainly considering these sorts of things as we ready Hashable 2.0 for release!

Search for and sync Facebook Contacts
You allow this with email and twitter, but not Facebook?? My facebook contacts are my actual real life friends My twitter contacts live all over the world and I barely ever see. Which group makes most sense to sync with Hashable?

We are looking into something along these lines. More updates on this topic coming after the official Hashable 2.0 release.

allow contacts to be removed
In case you add a contact by accident, ie a wrong name/typo or if you need to prune your contacts from people you no longer deal with and would like to remove.

cheatsheet should be a pop-over / dialog
Please make the cheatsheet a pop-up dialog on top of the text. I lost what I was typing way too many times cause I forgot that the cheatsheet takes to a new page.
If not a dialog, at least have it open in a new window by default. Current behavior is lame!

Import e-mail signature
Provide some mechanism for populating key fields in a user's business card from their email signature (such as pulling it directly from their outlook settings) rather than having to manually input them. It would make it heaps easier to get going with the service and most corporate types have similar formats for their email signature.

fix the geo-location metadata to sync correct location info between website and post preferences
I posted a checkin with the iPhone app and specified a city-level location. The map on the post on the Hashable site indicates my street level address which I didn't want displayed for privacy reasons.

We are currently working on a better system of normalizing our location data. The new data will stream into the website and apps slowly but surely, so stay tuned.

Sync new contacts made in iPhone app to Address Book
I would really like it if the new people I'm meeting via Hashable were automatically added to my Address Book. I hate doing double entry!

Hey Mik3, how about a compromise?
We’ll make it easy to add contacts to your phone’s address book:
From any profile page on the iPhone: scroll to the bottom and tap “Save to Address Book” – This will let you create a new contact in your address book or add the information to an existing contact.
On Android: tap the menu button on anyone’s profile, and you’ll be given a similar option.
We don’t want to automatically alter someone’s address book without asking permission. It’s a privacy concern, but also could be a surprising and unexpected experience.
Is this an acceptable compromise? Or would you rather have an automatic way to sync new contacts to your phone?

Add Custom Business Card design
I have only been using #Hashable for 20 minutes, but I have this idea for you guys.
Let people design their business cards in two ways:
1) Choose from a list of predefined templates.
2) Create a Business Card design from Scratch using predefined merge fields <phone> <title> <photo> etc...
This will also allow your partners and Agencies to offer their clients to design the companies Business Cards - creating an incentive for other businesses to promote Hashable.
And for us pre-internet oldtimers, we can finally make that business card we always wanted! :)

Windows Phone 7!
I love what jayinatlanta said about a lightweight web interface, but it doesn't seem you're going that route, so I want to put in some votes for a Windows Phone 7 app - or an open public API so someone else can make one...

We’re definitely considering it. WP7 has about 10% market share, so it’s not necessarily as pressing as Blackberry, iPhone, and Android, but we’ve been told that WP7 development is relatively easy.

Add multiple twitter account support
I've got a couple different twitter accounts one for personal and one for business. It would be great if you guys would support that so I don't have to have multiple hashable accounts.

parse hashtags from tweets more in line with twitter
hashable seems it include punctuation (such as exclamation marks) that immediately trail a hashtag, twitter doesn't.
